1. How much is shipping?

All Equinox Surfboards are shipped with the greatest care in mind to guarantee they arrive to your location in perfect condition.  All boards are double wrapped in bubble wrap for extra protection and shipped in extra rigid cardboard boxes. Any accessories shipped with a surfboard will ship for free. Please see shipping charges below:

Shipping discounts are provided on multiple board orders.  To calculate the shipping charge take the longest board and add $30. If you have any questions regarding larger orders please email us. 


2. What is the warranty offered by Equinox Surfboards?

All Equinox Surfboards are made with the highest craftsmanship and best quality materials. Equinox Surfboards maintains a 30-day warranty from the date of purchase. In the unlikely event there are manufacturer's defects, Equinox Surfboards, at it's discretion will replace the board with a new or like new replacement. All warranty claims will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Damage from normal use is not covered under the warranty. The 30-day warranty only covers the original owner and is none transferable.

If a product appears to have a manufactures defect; please email us the details along with JPG or GIF pic's. We will respond within 3 days advising you what action the manufacture desires to take. Do not return Items to us without receiving instructions. The manufacture must approve the return of the item where any claim of manufacture defect is made. If an item is to be returned due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the box.


3. Where are Equinox Surfboards shaped? 

Our custom boards are hand shaped in South Bay, CA.  All stock board templates are designed and shaped in South Bay, CA.  Once our master shapes are tested and perfected, we send our designs out for hand shaping abroad.  

4. What is the Return / Exchange policy with surfboards and other prodcuts?

Occasionally a surfboard or accessory may be damaged in the shipping process. This may be true even though the exterior of the box may show no damage (placement of a heavier item on your board may cause pressure dings or other damage). Damage Claims will be handled by Equinox Surfboards. We are not responsible for damage caused in the shipping process. If you have any question regarding this issue, please feel free to contact us. We will be glad to help you. All boards shipped are insured to their full value.

We have the most straightforward return policy possible: Returns only where shipping or manufactures defects as set forth in the return policy. Because our surfboards cannot be re-sold as new once they have been shipped to you, we don't offer a return or refund. However, if you want to exchange your surfboard for another surfboard we will entertain such on a case by case basis understanding that you will be responsible for shipping/return of the surfboard you received and shipping of the second surfboard. We also reserve the right to charge an exchange fee valued up to 20% of the value of the surfboard you are exchanging. The surfboard being exchanged must be returned (at your cost) within 10 days and with all unused original packaging and literature materials. Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department and the bike must be returned to the shipping address direct by the RMA department (which may be different than the address which the board shipped to you from). This does not apply to surfboards damaged in shipping or having manufactured defects, which have their own remedy. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written on the box.

Please note that boards, which are on sale and special promotion surfboards, are not refundable or exchangeable. No exception.

  1. Return the item to the address given to you by our RMA department.
  2. Write the RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization Number) on the box.
  3. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We are not liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.
  4. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 14 to 21 business days of our receiving your return. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable.

5. What is the privacy poilcy for

We may collect certain data about you by the placing of cookies on your computer so that we can monitor your viewing and purchasing patterns. In the check out process we will also collect certain information such as your name, address, phone number, email address and other such information as determined from time to time. We may use this information for statistical purposes or to present you with future offers from us or others which we deem you may have an interest in such products or services.

7. Can I pay using Paypal?

Using Paypal is an acceptable form of payment. We do however require the shipping address to be "confirmed". This measure was put in place to prevent fraudulant transactions. For instructions on how to confirm your address on Paypal please click here.
